Mom should be going home, as in home home, in the next couple of days! She had visits at MD Anderson Friday and yesterday, and they removed both her picc line and abscess drain. I don't believe the abscess is gone, but the drain is not doing anything, and mom seems to be pretty healthy. She will continue physical therapy and will most likely have an attendant of sorts to help her during the day. Don't really know what's being arranged.
So, that being said, I really won't have anything to update on here unless something happens again. Let's hope I have nothing to update! But if there is an update, I'll keep you posted.
And I have a feeling that mom will probably insist that I teach her to sign in and post stuff to this blog. If she ever gets the hang of it, I'm sure she'll have a lot to say. And I have no doubt that she will develop a mass following that will spread worldwide.
