Update: July 7, 10:15 am

Mom is back at MD Anderson fighting more infections. She had another drain tube inserted on Tuesday and is back on IV antibiotics. Not sure how long she will be there or what the plans are after she leaves the hospital. She's trying to keep her spirits up, but she is very emotional about being back in the hospital and possibly going back to a skilled nursing facility once she is released. She also concerned that the progress she was making in physical therapy will be lost. She was doing well in the several weeks she was at home, and its hard not to think that this is a major setback. However, we are encouraging her, and her doctors are too, to see this just as a bump in the road to her recovery. She is in room 1070, and the number is 713-834-8984.
