Update: Friday, Jan 22, 8:40 am
Mom had a successful procedure yesterday afternoon to insert a drain into her infected area. Let's just say that the last I heard, a bunch of stuff was coming out. Great news, but gross to think about. Her blood work is apparently normal again, and she has been getting some solid, much needed rest. Don't yet know where we go from here. I assume the drain will be in for a couple of days.

Hope she gets rid of all of that infection and that it doesn't return! Glad she is getting better sleep! How is your Dad holding up?
Dad's doing well but misses mom. Just kind of a wait and see game for all of us.
